I am 53 years of age and I have been a beauty therapist for over 30 years.
I have four adult children and worked constantly in this industry while they were growing up. I was lucky enough to have my own business and could tailor my hours to suit family life.
One of my daughters has followed me into this industry both as a Beautician and Qualified Hairdresser and now manages my salon, where I work part time to give me more time to devote to my online business.

How Beauty Courses Online was Formed.
About five years ago I decided to put together a series of instructional videos for people who wish to learn how to perform these procedures but don’t have the time to attend a traditional beauty school. These DVDs are perfect if you wish to learn at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.
I decided if I was going to produce the courses it would have to be in a way that any one could understand and I wanted to teach as I did when I had my school and that was at a grass roots level.
The courses were filmed as I performed the actual procedures on real people in a salon environment with constant verbal instruction as I went. The DVDs are of good quality but with little editing, because I wanted the real thing, warts and all, giving you a step by step instructional account of how to properly perform each procedure. Of course there was some editing of the film if I made a verbal mistake and we also added the background music, however if a mistake was made in the procedure or something went wrong it was left in so you can see just what you will encounter and how to remedy the problem.
Depending on the level of course you choose, we have an email question and answer service if a student needs help understanding what is being taught. I think because I have left nothing to chance in relation to detail in these courses, I am very proud to say that so far I have had a very small amount of questions asked relative to the amount of courses sold, but for the questions I have had I get so much enjoyment helping to assist with problems.
